It is a fruity, soft wine that is particularly food friendly.
After a very mild winter and an early bud-break, the spring was quite wet. The summer was cooler than usual, with scattered rains throughout. The harvest was late September and early October. Quantity was up and the quality excellent.
Luminous ruby color. Forest berries, spices, leather, moist earth and dried plum, layered in the aroma. Soft, round taste, well-balanced acidity and clean and persistent aftertaste. Very pleasing, and ready to drink.
