Guided Visits: Badia a Coltibuono is open to the public for guided tours.
Period: from April  to October - Timetable: every day, at 2,30pm, 3,30pm, 4,30pm
Cost: 6,00 € per person, children free
At 5,30pm and 6,30 pm , after the tour tasting of 2 of our organic wines
Cost: 9,00 € per person - Time: 50 minutes.
Reservation not required.

Is it possible to taste wine and oil?

Visits with Wine Tasting:
Enjoy a morning visit Badia a Coltibuono, including the 16 th century frescoed refectory of the old abbey and taste the estate wine as you visit the cellars.Visits are organised Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 11am from May to October by appointment.
Cost: 15 euro per person; maximum number of guests is 20, time 1hr 30.

Private visits of Badia a Coltibuono can be arranged throughout the year including guided tastings of wine, Olive oil and honey. On request we would be happy to organise a tasting of rare historical vintages. By appointment only.

Is it possible to visit vinafication winery?

Designer Winery. On request it is possible to organize tasting sessions and guided tours of the vineyards and winery. In fact, Badia a Coltibuono has one of the top, modern international level Designer Wineries , at Monti in Chianti (Siena), where its great wines are vinified and produced. The remarkable combination of old and new in the Coltibuono winery is a further element of interest and curiosity for visitors. By appointment only.

Where can we buy your products?
You can taste and buy our products at the Osteria Badia a Coltibuono, situated at the beginning of the private drive up to the old Abbey. The Osteria is open every day from May to October.

Can we take a walk in the surroundings?

Trekking maps are available for guests wishing to explore the over 800 hectares of surrounding woodland. With walks in the centuries-old fir woods inhabited by a multitude of local fauna, breathtaking views spanning from Pratomagno to Mount Amiata, at Badia a Coltibuono guests can enjoy a simple and direct relationship with nature.

Do you have bikes?
We do not have bikes as Chianti roads are very hilly and they are not furnished with cycle tracks, and cycling can be uncomfortable.

Do you have swimming pool?
We have a large open-air swimming pool.
